Financial Operations Lead

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented standalone Financial Operations Lead to take ownership of our client's accounting function. If you thrive in a busy, varied role and enjoy seeing the bigger picture of a business's financial health, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day financial operations. Your duties will include:

• Processing invoices, expenses and reconciling supplier statements
• Ensuring all bank transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled
• Assisting with VAT calculations and submissions
• Supporting month-end and year-end processes, including preparing reports and statements
• Assisting with payroll processing
• Maintaining accurate financial records in line with regulations and company policies

Requirements

• Proven accounting experience - preferably part-qualified ACCA / CIMA (all candidates will be considered included QBE and AAT applicants)
• Excellent proficiency with Xero
• A solid understanding of financial processes and accounting principles
• Strong numerical and analytic skills with high attention to detail
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
