Our client, a market-leading company has an exciting opportunity for a professional and dynamic Website Content Editor. Working with a market leading employer, this exciting and challenging opportunity is ideally suited for a person looking to develop their online career. You will be responsible for the entire editorial vision and website strategy aswell as commissioning and creating database material. The ideal candidate will have previous commercial experience within in a web content management role preferably in a B2B setting or a consumer-comparison market. You will be able to demonstrate a proven track record in writing, commissioning and editing as well as experience in creating and developing strong online brands and unique, interactive web content. You should also have some previous experience of managing content delivery in a customer-facing environment and a working knowledge of SEO techniques and web-based writing, including blogging. It is essential that you have previous experience of managing commercial relationships, both internally and externally with a passion for writing. You will be involved with business development and will regularly liaise with senior managers to help establish business plans. You will undertake competitor, sector and market analysis and will also be concerned with promoting information about the website to both internal and external customers. It is key that you have the ability to generate ideas to ensure that the site continues to develop with the vision to create a leading comparison site within its market. The role would suit someone with a proactive, enthusiastic attitude who is commercially aware, able to think creatively and strategically and possesses excellent negotiation skills with the capacity to form relationships with other providers.
