Our client, a globally leading media company are recruiting an experienced UK Account Director to work from their Central London office. They require a well established business developer with an excellent background and understanding of research; specifically in the educational field. The accountability will be to lead the continued growth of the company across the UK, by identifying and sourcing new business leads, and developing new relationships and acquiring new customers. The successful candidate will be required to: • Present the company’s products and solutions to clients, meeting their objectives and requirements • Develop an in depth knowledge of the company research model and strategy • Manage a portfolio of existing high profile clients • Plan and implement effective sales campaigns In addition to extensive research knowledge and selling experience, it is essential that the candidate has an excellent track record of exceeding goals, proven sales experience in full-cycle telephone and face to face, and a proven ability to both generate leads and close deals. Athough this role is based in the UK, regular travel to Berlin will be required, and the successful candidate must be prepared to spend the first 2 months in Berlin, in order to build an in depth knowledge of the business.
