Our client, an international pharmaceutical firm, is looking to recruit a Training Manager for a 6-month contract, which is likely to be extended on an ongoing basis. The role involves creating training materials and delivering training to the client’s drug development and medical affairs departments. You will also be supporting the drug development team managers to train and development their staff. The successful candidate will be assisting in creating and maintaining business processes and the associated training schedule. You will need to work with subject experts and service providers to produce training programmes, training content, workshops and on-line courses. The Training Manager will also be required to track staff training, and contribute to the development of training and training programmes. You will be expected to update your knowledge of regulations and guidelines, which affect Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and contribute to committee meetings. This will also involve cooperating with Quality Assurance and ensuring your team’s records are inspection ready at all times. You will be reviewing audit findings and operate as an interface with IQA and GQ within Corporate Development. Candidates are expected to hold a degree, or ideally a master’s degree, in a scientific discipline. The successful candidate for this role must have a proven background in GCP and GxP guidelines and you will have worked within a clinical research environment and conducted Pharmaceutical training. There will be a need to travel to alternative company locations regularly, both nationally and internationally; therefore an ability to communicate in French would also be beneficial.
