My client is an established organisation within the field of imaging and medical/scientific software. Their clients include pharmaceutical corporations, as well as scientific research organisations. This world-renowned provider of specialised software is currently recruiting for a Trainee External Sales Executive. Ideally you will be of graduate calibre and preferably you will be scientifically minded and familiar with the terminology associated with laboratory equipment and the life sciences. This position does not require any previous sales experience, although you might find previous exposure to B2B telemarketing beneficial. As this is an external role, you will have to possess a clean and full driving licence. You will either be targeting the South of England, including London and occasionally, you will be expected to fly to the North of England and Scotland. My client is providing an elaborate three months training scheme and a car allowance. Although you will be encouraged to generate your own leads, the majority of them will be provided by market researchers. The role primarily consists of new business development and closing sales (f2f). This is an excellent opportunity for a self motivated, articulate and intelligent individual. Furthermore, it is essential for the successful candidate to possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
