Our client, an IT solutions provider for the construction industry, is recruiting for a Test Automation Analyst to join their Nottingham based team on a permanent basis. The function of the role is to work with fast-moving teams using Scrum methodologies in a multi-national software house, creating test scripts, classify bugs and automated test suites across a range of software. You will be responsible for building large scale test automation to verify and break product code, creating tools to support development efforts, and measuring and reporting the quality of the system. Your responsibility will be to develop, deploy, monitor, and maintain automated test solutions and tools that enhance the overall performance of the systems architecture. The successful candidate will be an experienced Software Tester with experience of working within an agile web environment, and will have good experience of working with Open Source testing tools (including Selenium, Watin, Fitnesse etc). An understanding of Scrum environments will be beneficial and additionally, the candidate must have experience of implementing automated, cross-browser testing. The client is looking for a good team player, as you will be working as a part of the development team alongside product owners and managers. It is also important that you can determine the root cause of a problem, and be dedicated to meeting release milestones. Due to time constraints, only successful applicants will be considered.
