Our client is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join their team. This role forms an essential part of supplying technical support to their customers and partners. Your duties will include the following: · Providing implementation and technical support services to customers and partners · Prepare both briefing and detailed technical reports as required · Carry out proactive monitoring of all service requests assigned to you with appropriate action taken to expedite closure · Liaise closely with the Product Support team to identify product defects · Performing analysis, implementation and repairs on customer sites when required You will have good working knowledge of Server OS, PC Applications & Networking (Win2000/3 Server) and a strong software application background. Awareness of programming techniques and application/web servers will be beneficial. Ideally you will demonstrate experience of supporting external customers and will be flexible to travel on an international basis as and when required. You must be able to work both independently and as part of a team, flexible in approach and attitude, work well under pressure and with constantly changing priorities. Excellent communication and organisational skills and have a dynamic personality.
