The Opportunity Joining a strong purchasing and supply management team, your main responsibilities will revolve around maintaining and developing the supplier relationships in order to ensure that solutions are cost-effective and consistently available. Managing the sourcing and tender processes, you will ensure that all new offerings are brought to the attention of the client management teams and provide support to business development teams on new bids. Key Responsibilities • Supplier management and relationship development • Management of sourcing and tendering • Reducing costs of supplier solutions (targeted responsibility) • Assisting in business development bids • Development of new ideas The Candidate Experienced in the purchasing and supply chain environment, you have previously needed to use your negotiation skills to maintain and establish working relationships. With demonstrated business acumen, you will also have strong IT skills and will be a confident user of Excel (ideally including pivot tables and the analysis of large amounts of data). This role requires someone who is detail-orientated, flexible, and enthusiastic. If you have previous experience in the training, learning & development, or change management areas this may be an ideal role for you.
