Our client, a supplier of new home fittings, is opening a new sales/design studio in Slough and are looking to hire a Manager to supervise the Sales / Project Management Team. Working in conjunction with major house builders, your team will be selling upgrades in interior and exterior fittings to new home buyers. They will have to ensure that all sales are appropriate to each individual property, and meet all statutory requirements relating to Health & Safety, sale of goods and security. Once the products have been chosen, they will be responsible for ensuring that each property receives the correct orders and the installation adheres to the Build Project and cut-off dates. As the Studio Sales Team Manager you will be expected to demonstrate best practice sales techniques and carry out ongoing coaching and development of the team. Monitoring targets, sales trends and progress on each project will also form part of your duties. It is essential that you are able to exhibit a full and up-to-date knowledge of your own products and services, as well as those of the developers. You will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, which will be utilised in imparting the extensive product knowledge you will have gained from your training period. There will be ongoing communication with both the client and the sites to make certain all stages of the purchase and fitting process runs smoothly, and all those involved are aware of the progress. With a passion for selling and an enthusiastic approach you will help to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for the clients, and motivate the sales team, to optimise the sales opportunities.
