Initial six month contract for a Strategic Customer Service Manager within a leading corporate organisation. This role sees the incumbent take responsibility for a 35 person department with 5 direct reports, full P&L responsibility for a department with revenue generation of up to £25 million per annum. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a proven career history of running customer service operations, ideally within either the IT or telecoms industries. Key performance areas will include: - Ensuring that the customer support function meets its agreed P&L targets - Ensuring there is a culture of excellence across the business and that processes and goals are in place to achieve this - Working with support partners & internal staff to ensure support partners are ready to take on & deliver on their responsibilities - Developing current support staff to take on higher level skilled tasks whilst support partners address onsite activity - Leading and taking part where appropriate Customer Support Management reviews and take appropriate actions - Ensuring department standards are met at all times through regular auditing procedures Our client works with numerous blue chip corporate businesses and also public sector organisations. You will be able to demonstrate a past history of leading a support function working with similar partners and will ideally have used an industry recognised ITIL methodology. With superior communication and presentation skills, you will be a natural leader and will be flexible to travel to multiple locations during the course of this contract. This role is for an initial period of six months and could lead to further extensions. The salary range is between £70-80K and will include a strong benefits package, car allowance and bonus structure (salary to be pro rata for the contract length).
