Spanish Financial Analyst - (part) qualified - Remote/WFH

We are looking for a native level/fluent Spanish Financial Analyst /(part-) Qualified Accountant, to join the EMEA financial shared service centre for an international manufacturer with $7 billion annual revenue. 

This is offered on a 12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave (initially). You can work remotely, although please be aware there is expectation to spend time on-site in Gloucestershire for training over the first few weeks.

Reporting to the EMEA Finance Manager, you'll be a part of transactional reconciliation, closure and reporting of statutory accounts on a monthly, quarterly & yearly basis.

Responsibilities include (although not limited to):

• Maintenance of financial records, month end journals, P&L reporting
• Managing preparation of monthly reconciliations; investigation of discrepancies for Spanish business entitites
• Monthly VAT returns; annual tax returns

 In addition:

• US GAAP and Spanish GAAP is a strong advantage.
• You should have Excel reporting experience (pivots & v-lookup); SAP is desirable, but non-essential.
• Experience in an EMEA/European SSC (or BPO) is desirable.
• Part-qualified or working towards a recognised qualification.
