Our client, an international pharmaceutical firm, is looking to recruit a SOP Specialist for a 6-month contract, which is likely to be extended on an ongoing basis. The role involves creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and preparing the training for the SOP’s and associated processes. You will need to keep up to date on regulations and guidelines in order to effectively incorporate these into the SOP’s. It is expected that you will contribute to the development of training materials and participate in training activities as required. There will also be a need to produce reports on the development of the processes and SOP’s and review the audit finding on a regular basis. Candidates are expected to hold a degree, or ideally a master’s degree, in a scientific discipline (or have relevant career experience). You will have worked in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically the clinical research, quality assurance or compliance departments. This, in turn, will mean you have experience of and will be comfortable working to GCP and GxP guidelines. There will be a need to travel to alternative company locations regularly, both nationally and internationally; an ability to communicate in French would be beneficial for this reason.
