Senior Product Manager – 6 month contract

A global pharmaceutical company based in Uxbridge is currently looking to recruit a Senior Product Manager to join their team on a 6-month temporary contract. Your main focus will be to work on the strategy and tactics for products within dermatology. You also will be leading in terms of key opinion leader development and working closely with cross functional teams. 

The role will require 25% of the time based in the field representing the marketing function and working together with Regional Business Managers and Key Account Managers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Developing and creating the brand portfolio with creative vision and strategy
  • Ability to influence and persuade others in terms of the strategy and plan for the future
  • Responsible for forecasting and managing the budget in terms of strategy and plan
  • Strong leader in creating the business development pipeline for the company
  • Acting as mentor to cross functional teams and solving any issues regarding budgets
  • Building relationships with the leaders in the therapy area
  • Participating in the team meetings
  • Creating the brand plan by analysing the market data
  • Following what is happening on the market and keeping up to date with all new information and competitors to achieve the best plan for the brand
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors and communicate with them in terms of new brand plans
  • Making sure that all marketing materials and documents are approved on time and according to ABPI/IPHA code of practice as well as company’s SOPs
  • Organising the meetings with field team regards marketing campaigns
  • Management of marketing budgets and making sure it is correct with brand plan
  • Leadership and passion for the brand
  • Leasing with all departments in the company and present the brands and its position in the market
  • Leadership in the execution of the operational plan and supporting the team members
  • Managing the relationship with EU site and network of KOLs
  • Mentor the field management team along with RBMs and head of head of medical affairs
  • Assisting and supporting the preparation of financial forecast for relevant brands 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Extensive marketing and sales experience within pharmaceutical industry
  • Scientific focus and understanding of complex clinical information
  • Experience within Immunology market will be an advantage
  • Exposure to marketing research and new product development
  • Strong team player with leadership skills
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Analysing and problem-solving skills
  • Must have access to their own transport (car and full driving licence)
