Senior Product Development Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Product Development Manager to join a leading UK supply chain and logistics company based in Gerrards Cross.

Joining the Commercial team and as a Product expert, you will be responsible for all activities within Product Development and ensure they are in line with company’s strategic roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee new and emerging product opportunities in line with the company’s roadmap
• Manage and support the Product Development Managers in the delivery of product solutions
• Develop relationships with subject matter experts of different products to ensure team support
• Work with the product development, sales and marketing teams to gain customer insight into their requirements
• Review product research to verify competitive information and market analysis

Requirements

• Previous experience in a product development role particularly within a supply chain/freight forwarder setting
• Proven background in managing a team
• Knowledge of developing proposals in a variety of formats and pricing structures
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to develop and maintain business relationships
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
