Senior PK Scientist

A global research organisation is looking for a Senior PK Scientist to join their team based near Edinburgh. A great opportunity to work on innovative UK focused PK/TK studies as part of a European team.  

An international company my client is growing rapidly and has seen the PK team develop quickly. With the opportunity to be a subject matter expert, you will work across a varied mix of projects

Key Responsibilities

• Lead PK/TK projects by analysing study protocols and preparing pharmacokinetics/toxicokinetic plans
• Act as subject matter expert for PK/TK services and liaise with internal stakeholders over the interpretation and reporting of PK/TK data
• Develop mathematical modelling and simulations of several pharmacokinetic/toxicokinetic models
• Ensure all documentation is are in line with GLP as well as regional and global regulations

Requirements

• Educated to degree level in a Scientific area
• Proven background in providing scientific PK/TK analytical support
• Expertise in Pharmacometrics and PKPD modelling
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken
• Experience using Phoenix, Winnonlin software
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a team
