The Opportunity Working within a global corporation, you will be working to construct and maintain the corporate standard desktop across a variation of devices and CPUs. Working on roll-outs from the construction stage through to the maintenance of issues post-implementation, you will provide technical assistance based on the research of current software and operating system service packs, patches, updates and fixes. Utilizing scripting, batch files, and deployment tools in order to create software packages for unattended installation, you will ensure that all new and proposed software is tested prior to integration and deployment. This is a very hands-on role, and requires strong technical knowledge of programs such as Altiris, SCCM, and other equivalents. Key Responsibilities -Responding quickly to service interruptions by creating solutions which prevent recurring issues -Work with project managers on global projects from the technical design through to the timings of rollouts, etc. -Test applications to ensure that rollout is as smooth as possible -Investigate third party issues for clients that work closely with your company The Candidate With extensive IT experience, especially focusing on Microsoft Windows desktop/server operating systems, you will be experienced in working within a large scale enterprise environment. Experienced in using Altiris, SCCM, or the equivalent, you will be skilled in managing IT within a global environment.
