This is an excellent opportunity for a journalist with both print production and website experience to work across an interesting editorial portfolio. The post involves commissioning articles, news writing, interviewing, copy-editing, working with designers and liaising with industry experts. As Senior Editor you will be required to edit a quarterly B2B magazine and related monthly electronic newsletters aimed at insolvency professionals as well as editing two high profile annual careers directories aimed at graduate recruiters. Alongside these responsibilities you will be working with other editors to help contribute to the editorial departments role of supplying a constant stream of friendly, advice driven articles aimed at the target market. To be considered for the role it is essential that you must have proven work experience as a B2B journalist who is also skilled at consumer-focused writing styles. You will need to be adept at news writing and features and it would be highly desirable for you to be able to write for digital media – online articles, social media etc. For you to have experience of legal and financial sectors would be a bonus as a large focus of the role would be focused at writing for these sectors. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must alongside being computer literate in emails and Microsoft Office. The client is looking for someone who has a lively, informal writing style and who is able to juggle tasks and meet deadlines.
