Our client is a leading marketing agency based in Reading, Berkshire, who are looking to recruit a Senior Business Development Manager to join their team. The role requires a proactive hunter who is happy to work autonomously and go through the entire sales cycle, from cold call, to meeting to closing the deal, of their own volition and will involve a mix of around 30% calling, 20% emailing and 50% face-to-face meetings and travel. The perfect candidate will have many years' experience in lead generation with recent experience dealing with C-level decision makers and it is imperative that they come from a solution background, ideally incentive and reward, but any CRM/ SaaS or similar would be possible. Marketing experience would be an added bonus. On top of a basic salary of £50-60,000, bonuses and uncapped commission, the company also offer a welcoming, down-to-earth and sociable team that would suit someone looking to avoid the more corporate side to London/ City based jobs.
