Our client a highly successful commodities company is seeking a sales support administrator for their Customer Services team. Working within a small focussed team you will manage and support all customer needs, expectations and manage ad hoc special projects. Your daily duties will involve dealing with orders, dispatch, logistics, transport, invoicing, sales reporting and general queries. You will also be responsible for a range of standard office duties such as making travel arrangements, maintaining marketing materials for client visits and trade shows, acting as receptionist, managing the meeting rooms, credit control and database management. You will ensure accurate information is recorded and maintained, be on top of any new developments within the accounts and alert the sales team to any new opportunities. Projects will include management of samples, which are measured in tons so quite costly, dispatching, tracking and making follow up calls to client, gaining feedback and making reports. You will also prepare reports from researched information in regards to customer history to assist the sales team prior to client visits and attend industry trade fairs. To be successful in this role you will require excellent communication skills gained from a customer focussed position, confident IT skills, MS Word, EXCEL, good level of education and driving license.
