Our client, an IT and telecoms company based in Berkshire, is currently looking to recruit a Sales Executive for the Europe region. The successful applicant will undertake sales activities in the region under the direction of the Regional Vice President. Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the role include:  Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers via meetings, telephone calls and emails.  Visiting potential customers for new business and increasing sales either by converting prospects to Virtual Network Operators (VNOs) or Hub Network Operators (HNOs).  Providing customers with quotations.  Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales.  Gathering market and customer information and providing feedback on future industry trends.  Representing the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations.  Negotiating variations in price, delivery and specifications with your RVP and Product Management.  Advising customers on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions. You will also be involved with identifying new markets and business opportunities within verticals, recording sales and order information in Salesforce.com, reviewing your own sales performance and aiming to meet or exceed targets. The ideal candidate will be degree qualified and will need to have the ability and desire to sell, excellent communication skills, strong commercial awareness, a confident and determined approach, resilience, and the ability to cope with rejection, a high degree of self-motivation and drive, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, the capacity to flourish in a competitive environment.
