Our client based in Reading is looking to recruit a Sales Manager to join their team. The Sales Manager will become a key player in developing their national distribution and wholesaler networks to develop revenue across the product range. The key aspects to this role will be the launching and selling of all new safety component related products. This is a field sales based role so your time will be split between being in the office (based in Reading) discovering and researching leads and then following these up by going out to meet clients and developing new business. You will take active ownership of key accounts and contracts across the group with a heavy focus on new business generation. An important part of this role will be the performance management of all reporting staff. You will be focusing on the team members and their development, providing support, motivation and encouragement so as to keep all individuals pro-active. This will in turn help to enhance the development of the sales pipeline. In return our client of offering a competitive salary, car allowance, plus OTE.
