Our client, an educational establishment based in the Windsor area, is looking for a Residential Co-Ordinator on a contract basis. Based in the main office, with occasional site visits, you would be responsible for a number of residential centres and organising the full range of planned activities. The first period of the assignment will involve extensive liaison with external suppliers to negotiate and agree rates for various services such as coach hire, evening entertainers and facilities for the actual classes. You will be working to a budget for each centre and ensuring you can provide all activities over the specified period. Sourcing maps, checking over excursion itineraries and updating the systems so the information is easily accessible to other staff members is also important. Moving into the later part of the assignment you will be finalising bookings, creating itineraries for students and teachers, prepaying the necessary deposits and ensuring credit arrangements are set up correctly. You will prepare briefings and liaise with senior staff members and host families and attend any meetings as required. This is a busy role that requires excellent time management and organisational skills. It would suit a recent graduate, or similar, looking for a full time role with responsibility for your own tasks and to build on your office experience. You will be working to meet deadlines and stay within budgets throughout the assignment. Working in a wonderful location you will benefit from an excellent hourly rate plus holiday pay. Candidates would benefit from having their own transport, as they will be expected to visit other sites during the contract. The role is due to start in February and will run until the end of July, with a possible extension to the end of August.
