A global biotechnology company who are a market leader in their therapeutic area are looking for an Analytical Biology Research Scientist to join their team in Oxford.
This is a great opportunity to work for a pharmaceutical company who have created a centre of excellence and constantly focus on driving innovation and using cutting edge techniques in their science.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct experiments involving multi-dimensional data from phenotypic tests for target discovery and validation
- Test relevant hypotheses using bioimaging techniques and analysis
Requirements
- Preferably educated to a PhD level in computational biology or similar field
- Excellent knowledge of phenotypic assays
- Great understanding of applied statistical modelling to biological data
- Software development or scripting knowledge is preferred
