My client, a leading IT solutions provider, is recruiting for an Italian Regional Sales Manager who possesses a focused, hunter mentality. Whilst this role does include account management, you will be a proven business developer, capable of using a wide network of existing contacts to provide strategic solution sales. Based in Milan, this role will include extensive travel throughout the designated sales territory. Key Responsibilities: · Managing a portfolio of existing customers within Italy · Consistent achievement of high levels of productivity in order to meet and overachieve revenue sales targets · Secure a minimum of new business wins · Continuously engage with customers to ensure their requirements are understood and that product offerings corresponds to their needs and objectives, and that appropriate levels of support and responsiveness are provided · Establish and maintain strong customer relationships with key customer executives through regular close contact account management which will include regular face to face meetings, telephone and email communication · Actively seek ways to grow revenue by means of cross-selling and up-selling to increase the services portfolio offered to existing customers · Continuously search for new opportunities within new markets and accounts. · Consistently monitor results of sales process including sales forecasting, pipeline management, and sales tracking through the use of Salesforce.com system and other designated tools With a proven track record of selling specialist hardware and software solutions via a sales channel network, ideally in a security software /solutions environment, you will ideally be educated to a degree level (or possessing relevant existing commercial experience) and will be able to demonstrate a clear history of over-achieving sales targets.
