Due to an internal promotion, our Reading-based client is looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. The company is multinational employer with a track record of providing a professional and pleasant working environment.
As a Purchase Ledger Assistant, you will ensure all supplier invoices are processed in a timely manner, you will process payments and respond to supplier queries as requested.
Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
- Maintaining Purchase Ledger for all UK Suppliers
- Completing month end tasks
- Maintaining the Purchase Order database
- Maintaining the aged creditors report
This role is likely to suit someone currently undertaking AAT qualifications, who is looking to effectively utilise their existing experience in Purchase Ledger.
The ideal candidate for this role will be confident, friendly and adaptable to the needs of the team. Based near a train station on the outskirts of Reading, this role is commutable from locations such as Reading, Newbury, Bracknell, Basingstoke, Maidenhead and Ascot.
