Our client, a leading technology company based in Hemel Hempstead is currently searching for a Product Manager to join the team. Reporting to the Commercial Manager you will be working closely with the HQ Product Management team in order to understand product roadmaps and transitions. The purpose of the role will be to handle quarterly business simulations including: P&L Management, product line up/positioning, promotion design, costing and implementation. Other key parts to the role will include providing marketing support, sales support, liasing with customers and product training. As Product Manager you will be planning and executing quarterly product road mapping alongside frequent analysis of competition and assisting the sales team with roadmap presentations to the customers. You will be expected to frequently analyse competition. Other responsibilities in this role will be liasing with the back office to ensure the HQ forecast is in line with local planning, understanding supply issues and co-ordinating with internal departments to provide a solution. Acting and responding quickly to sales requests for bid pricing and project support will be a vital part to the role. Our client is looking for an individual with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills who has experience of working within the IT Industry and be familiar with current technology trends. The preference would be that the candidate should have experience in the sales or marketing of mobile computing products and ideally be someone from a distributor or vendor background who has worked with a large product range. Multi tasking, confident and a team player are all key qualities the client desires for their Product Manager role. You must hold a Full UK driving licence.
