Product Development Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for a Product Development Manager to join a leading UK supply chain and logistics company based in Gerrards Cross.

Joining the Commercial team and as a Product expert, you will be providing guidance on product development across the business and externally to stakeholders whilst ensuring it’s in line with company’s strategic roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of new and emerging products by collaborating cross-functionally and in line with company’s strategic roadmap
• Liaise with subject matter experts of the different products and create compelling propositions
• Conduct product research and relevant market analysis
• Work alongside Sales and Marketing team to gain customer insight into their requirements and use that into product development
• Support the Product Development team to ensure all stakeholders are updated on product process and progress

Requirements

• Previous experience in a product development role particularly within a supply chain/freight forwarder setting
• Proven background in managing a team
• Knowledge of developing proposals in a variety of formats and pricing structures
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to develop and maintain business relationships
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
