A leading IT provider are recruiting for a Pre-Sales Consultant with C/C++ and ERP/CRM database experience to join their business in a role that has come about through company expansion. This role will involve building and delivering sales demonstrations as well as establishing and maintaining relationships with buyers and clients. Key Responsibilities include: · Providing pre-sales technical support for the complete hardware and software product portfolio in the assigned region (UK, Ireland and Benelux) · Support regional account managers on technical issues with products · Assist sales in identifying and qualifying all opportunities for strategic accounts and general inquiries · Create and deliver custom, accurate and technically correct sales presentations and documentation to potential customers · Create and deliver sales supporting material including complete Design Specifications, technical proposals, full responses for RFI’s etc · Convey technical product information as well as solution value to customers and prospects, using existing tools and processes as well as creating new, creative approaches to promote sales · Work with inside sales support staff and pre and post sales staff to further customer relationships · Maintain accurate reporting and ongoing data collection regarding customer engagements · Carry out special projects on an ad-hoc basis, such as competitive analyses and other tasks required to promote sales This is an ideal position for a current Pre-Sales Consultant that wants to progress their career. The successful candidate for this role will ideally be educated to degree level (ideally within a technical IT competency) and have a background in current hardware and software pre-sales. You will be commercially aware and results focused as well as having organisational and writing skills. A strong team player, you will have an excellent attention to detail and first class communication and interpersonal skills. Applicants must have a UK driving licence as the role involves travel to client sites for product demonstrations.
