Our client, a mail order supplier of healthcare products, is urgently seeking a part-time Administrator to directly support the company's Managing Director with the general running of a small office. Hours of work will be Monday-Friday 1pm-5pm. Duties will include but not be limited to: * Customer Service & Sales; dealing with customers over the phone, taking orders, packing and dispatching orders, sending product samples, following up on sales leads over the phone. * Stock room management to include keeping the area tidy, monitoring stock levels and placing orders with suppliers. * Invoicing and credit control * General office support duties to include ordering stationary, banking, filing, photocopying etc. The successful candidate will have strong IT and communication skills, a positive and pro-active approach to their work and will have the ability to work from their own initiative. The role would be well suited to a candidate who has previously worked in a small office and is used to contributing to the core running of a business. There will be times when you will be on your own in the office therefore the ability to work independently is absolutely essential. A full UK driving license and your own transport is also extremely important for this role. Full training will be given on the company database and Sage 50 accounts for the invoicing element of the role.
