Our client, a pharmaceutical company based in Maidenhead, is recruiting for a Medical Writer to provide support to the UK Medical Affairs department on a 6 month contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the analysis, interpretation and presentation of medical and scientific information in a variety of formats, for utilization by members of the Medical Department when interacting with members of the healthcare professions and internal customers. Your role will include but not be limited to: • Development of slide kits • Development of specific materials • Summaries of key clinical papers and other published documents • Creation of graphs and other medical and scientific imagery To be considered for this role, you must have a BSc degree of equivalent, preferably within Life Sciences, and have advanced I.T skills on all Microsoft software. It is also essential that you understand the fundamentals of statistical concepts, as commonly utilised in the medical field, as well as familiarity with methods of disseminating information. Further, you must have an understanding of the ABPI code. Experience in medical writing within the vaccine industry is also desirable.
