Our client, a major international pharmaceutical company, is seeking an experienced Medical Administrative Assistant. This role is a fixed term contract with a minimum of 12 months. This is a dual role which involves Drug Safety database management responsibility plus all round administration and secretarial support to the Medical Administrator. Duties would include but not be limited to: - Managing travelling requirements for the Medical Department - Arranging internal and external meetings - Clincial data entry - Diary management - Filing and other general administrative duties Experience of dealing with these duties in previous positions is absolutely essential most specifically clinical / drug safety data entry, booking European travel and venue sourcing. The successful candidate must be confident with IT (MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint), be highly organised and comfortable working in a fast paced environment. You must also have first class written and spoken English. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is essential for this role together with a sound knowledge of medical terminology.
