Our client, a leading publishing company is currently looking to recruit a Media Sales Executive to join their existing team due to company growth. The successful candidate will be a self-starter and highly motivated Advertising Sales Executive who is looking to sell advertising space in contract publications. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, combined with an ambition and drive to succeed at everything they are tasked with. Being a highly motivated and target-focused individual, you will be confident having clients from small businesses to global brands, and will be ideally looking to build a successful career with a forward thinking employer. The successful candidate will have enthusiasm, with a sense of urgency and a constant drive to make calls, convert clients, and hit targets. You will be a tenacious, resilient and focussed on delivering results in a competitive market. Furthermore, a strong work ethic, excellent telephone manner and a sense of humour are essential. For this position previous sales training is highly desirable (however not essential) as you will have to apply consultative sales techniques to sell classified and directory advertising to clients working to publishing deadlines and to set targets. In return, you can expect a basic salary of between £19k and £20K with an attractive OTE (c£6000 of commission per annum), which becomes uncapped once you have hit your targets. You will be joining a small dynamic team with a professional and successful reputation. This role is based in Central London, and is easily accessible via public transport.
