Our client, a leader provider of information publishing to the small to mid-sized business sectors, has an excellent opportunity for a creative, ambitious, driven media sales professional to join their sales team and sell across their most exciting websites. The successful applicant will be hungry for success and will be self-motivated to hit revenue targets and will have an understanding of the publishing industry. Any experience with a B2B publisher with media sales experience will be advantageous but is not essential. You will posses strong presentation skills, be ideas led and will have the personality and temperament to work in the fast paced world of online media sales. Around 60% of the role will involve face-to-face meeting and greeting, and selling to prospective clients. It is imperative therefore that the ideal candidate be outgoing, sociable and not afraid to take on challenges individually. Dealing directly with clients, you will have a positive “can do” attitude as there will be a strong emphasis on new business development as well as account management while developing and building relationships across the agency groups. As the role involves selling a portfolio of online products to clients, solid online media sales experience is required, and anyone with great contacts within the ad agency marketplace would be desirable.
