This is a full time temporary on-going position split into two distinct teams:  Face to face and Telephone & Digital. The Telephony & Digital role will be expected to spend 80-90% of time responding to or making phone calls or digital communications. The team provide a 7 day a week service and a shift rota system is in place. All candidates must have a DBS Certificate. The duties include:

  • Provide first point of customer contact on a wide range of council services such as: Library, Council Tax, Benefits, Housing, Planning, Schools Admissions
  • Provide an in-depth enquiry service
  • Provide support to the public in use of the photocopiers, printers and self -service machines
  • High standard of Customer Service is required
  • Good communication skills are essential
