Our client, a leading global Pharmaceutical organization, has an excellent opportunity for a first class administrator who is seeking a career within Learning and Development. The role will commence 23rd January and will initially be on a rolling contract which the client hopes will be extended into a permanent training role in 2013. The role sits between Learning and Development and HR. This is a newly created role within a new team and you will be acting as an ambassador so excellent communication skills, ability to handle sensitive situations in a confidential manner combined with strong organizational skills are essential. Responsibilities include. • Manage the training element of the induction process for new field based employees in conjunction with the departmental admin and hiring manager and maintain materials needed. • Maintain the web-based learning software and shared drive for Learning and Development • Co-ordination and communication of training programs. • Contribute to the design, facilitation and evaluation of training programs. • Create and update employees learning and development files. • Liaise with and manage external providers. • Liaise and co-ordinate with internal departments (for example the sales team). • Be the first point of contact for Learning and Development queries. • Identify areas for improvement and updating the current Learning and Development processes. • Set up new employee starter packs, update files, maintain absence, holiday and sickness files • Responsible for invoice processing, raising purchase orders via Oracle and P11D recording. • Create and maintain the training and HR calendar Skills/Knowledge Required: • Commercial background, ideally relevant work experience in industry and in L&D/ HR • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. • Flexible, ability to work in fast-paced environment • Proactive and service orientated attitude. • Strong PC experience and Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook experience required.
