Exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join an ecommerce company. This is an IT support role (which can develop into a management role) where the employer embraces a remote-working culture with occasional travel to the head office on the outskirts of Bournemouth.
This is a brand new role with IT largely being outsourced currently (including IT security). This will be moved in-house to this role so the successful individual must be comfortable supporting a user base of around 175 employees on a wide range of task (1st/2nd/3rd line) both onsite and remotely.
The successful candidate will also be involved in a major project for the company - the implementation of a new ERP solution (so exposure to ERP projects is beneficial).
The company operates fully cloud based so core support will be for Google Workspace (G Suite), IT asset management and virtualisation. In addition, other key technical knowledge includes:
- Routers, switches
- Disaster recovery – Firewalls
- Live Chat
- Gibe Commerce
- Adobe Suite
- People HR
