Our client, based on the outskirts of Gerrards Cross is recruiting for an IT Support Assistant to join their IT Department on a permanent basis. This position will involve prioritising, documenting and actively resolving end user requests which are received via the Helpdesk system/email and telephone; in addition you will also provide individual hands-on help at the desktop level. Primary responsibilities will include; but will to be limited to: •Resolving helpdesk requests e.g. users creation, MS Active Directory updates, e-mail account creation •Supporting the roll-out of new applications, testing and evaluating new technology •Configuration and support of IT equipment (PC, laptops, printers etc.) •Occasional field support for installations and IT Support offsite The ideal candidate will have good written and oral communication skills and work well on their own initiative as well as part of a team.
