Our client, a national social charity, is looking to recruit an Insurance Officer to work from their Slough office. You will be introducing and promoting a number of products and services in line with FSA requirements, while working to targets to ensure funding is brought in for the charity to utilise. You will be supervising the reception staff and a team of volunteers, including carrying out appraisals, training and maintaining personnel files. You will make regular visits to organisations, implement events and campaigns and use the media to assist in creating awareness of products and services available. You will also attend workshops and outreach programmes The successful applicant must be willing to undergo training to meet the requirements for the role as set out by the Financial Services Authority, Acent and ACSABE procedures. They will have good computer, communication and organisational skills and be confident in dealing with a wide range of people from a variety of backgrounds. A current CRB Disclosure would be advantageous. As you will need to travel to visit clients and promote the services available, a full driving licence and use of your own car would be beneficial. All funds must be rigorously accounted for in line with FSA requirements and associated administration duly documented.
