The Opportunity Supporting HR activities in the areas of employment, benefits, payroll, learning and development, and employee relations you will be working closely with the HR counterparts in Europe and also the local business partners in this role. A maternity contract (up to 12 months), this role will focus on managing contract changes, becoming the contact for all first line HR queries for the local area, assist in tracking absences and sickness, updating payroll tracking tools, and also updating all employee files. You will also prepare for and set up temporary employee files on a regular basis, along with participating in exit interviews, coordinating service awards, producing the monthly management report on recruitment for finance, and other reasonably expected tasks. This is a full and demanding role which will last up to 12 months from the end of August/start of September. Key Responsibilities • Managing contracts, temporary workers, payroll tracking, and other changes to employment contracts • Prepare and set up temporary employees • Updating payroll data tracking tools • Managing employee record files The Candidate With previous experience working within a generalist human resources role, you ideally have a CIPD qualification, and be able to work to a high level of confidentiality. A strong team player with good attention to detail, you will additionally be able to adapt quickly within the needs of the business.
