Due to expansion, our client a leading services provider are seeking a Personnel Officer to join their HR team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be involved with a variety of HR generalist topics with a major focus of the role being towards recruitment. The role will include developing effective recruitment initiatives to engage and attract new talent for the business, whilst promoting new vacancies through a variety of sources including social media. You will work closely with the line manager, candidate and recruitment agencies as necessary throughout the recruitment process to arrange interviews and tests to be conducted through to post interview candidate feedback. Alongside the line manager you will carry out candidate interviews as required. Aside from Recruitment, the successful Personnel Officer will be tasked with dealing with a range of HR queries and will support the line managers with any staff related matters. You may also be called upon to be present at disciplinary and grievance meetings as required. The ideal Personnel Officer will have excellent time management and communication skills as well as experience in a HR Generalist role with emphasis on recruitment. Any relevant HR qualifications will be desirable, however not essential for this particular role.
