Our client, a leading technical company listed repeatedly in Fortune Magazine’s Best 100 Companies to Work For, is looking to recruit an HR Business Partner for a Maternity Cover contract based at their offices near Hayes. Supporting the HR Manager you will cover all aspects of the HR department and assist with the day-to-day operations. You will have responsibility for managing benefits and compensation, as well as preparing the payroll. The induction and related administration of new members of staff will also be a key task. You will maintain department records and ensure all processes are compliant with industry and company laws and regulations. This will also offer opportunities to recommend improvements. As with any generalist HR role you will have a number of duties come up which you will have to deal with as required, and the opportunity to work on specific projects will depend on the successful candidates abilities. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant disciple, a CIPD qualification or equivalent experience from working in a similar role. As it is a contract role you will need to be able to build relationships across the organisation quickly. Knowledge of systems such as Sharepoint and PeopleSoft, as well as competency in Microsoft applications would be beneficial.
