Our client, a leading service provider based in Reading are looking to recruit a dedicated and professional HR Assistant for an initial rolling temporary contract (three months estimated). This is a generalist HR role and the successful candidate will have gained exposure to all aspects of the HR process: - Compensation & Benefits - Payroll - HR Policy & Procedure management - Grievance and Disciplinary processes - Recruitment - Performance evaluation and management - Learning & Development (Training) - TUPE - HR Administration This is a fast moving role so the relevant candidate will need to be a self-starter who can hit the ground running. Working alongside the Commercial Director & HR Director, you will be assisting to ensure the company's current policies and procedures in regards to HR are up-to-date. The company has a total headcount of approximately 200 staff on a nationwide basis. Most of this role will be based in Reading, but the successful candidate does need to be prepared to travel to four other sites in the UK if necessary. Based in Reading (Berkshire), this role is commutable from locations such as Newbury, Basingstoke, Wokingham, Ascot, Windsor, Camberley and Maidenhead.
