HR & Recruitment Advisor To £35K per annum + Benefits Slough, Berkshire Why should you be interested in this role? - You want to work for a company of nearly 1000 employees who have ambitious plans for continual growth in 2016 - You are looking for a strategic and operational HR / Recruitment position which will challenge you on a daily basis - You want in a busy and diverse culture where people are seen as the most important asset of the organisation - You want to be involved in creating an ‘HR people plan’ for the organisation in the future - You are able to commit to an initial 12 month fixed term contract and will have the potential to work beyond this period if required What will they want you to have? - A proven background in HR including having had involvement in recruitment strategy in the past - A strong, broad HR skill-set including: - Inductions / onboarding, Head count planning, comps & bens, recruitment, performance reviews and appraisal planning, L&D (training), internal HR policy management (legal) - A ‘people-first’ approach; you should be a key ambassador for your previous employers where you will be able to guidance and leadership at all levels of an organisation - Sound IT skills including standard Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - A CPP or CIPD qualification would be advantageous but not essential So what type of character will work well in this role? - A tenacious, self-starter is an ideal fit; this role will need someone who can roll up their sleeves and take ownership of the position - Someone with ideas but who will listen carefully; creativity and a desire to build a people strategy is fundamental to the role but taking advice and guidance from senior internal stakeholders will be just as essential - Someone who is flexible; the business operates multiple offices throughout the UK so this role will require the successful candidate to be available for contact and potential travel throughout the working day (a car driver is essential) - Resilient; this is a fast moving business which is going through a period of positive significant change.
