Our client is looking to recruit a Hardware Sales Account Manager, to be based in Germany, for their German speaking division. Candidates should have extensive experience of business-to-business hardware sales, including DAX, FTSE 500 and Global 1000 clients, with sales values of $250,000+. You will be responsible for accurately forecasting your figures to allow you to meet and exceed your targets. The client is looking for candidates who can develop and maintain client relationships through use of sales process methodologies, are able to build ROI and are comfortable working in a consultative manner. In order to be successful in this role you must maintain your knowledge of the client’s services and products, manage the clients resources and ensure records are documented accurately. Candidates are expected to have knowledge of embedded software licensing strategies and potential issues with hardware devices. Experience and knowledge of selling to environments such as telecoms equipment, IA equipment and medical devices will mean you are able to bring personal contacts, at a senior level, to the client’s business. The role is to be based in Munich, Frankfurt or Zurich and will involve up to 50% travel and candidates will also have to work remotely. Therefore you should have strong personal motivation, an ability to multitask and schedule your own work time. Due to the client base candidates must be fluent in German and English, any additional European languages would be of benefit.
