Finance Manager – 6-month FTC

A global organisation based in Windsor is currently looking to recruit a Finance Manager to join their team on a 6-month temporary contract with the view of going permanent. Your main focus will be to organise and maintain daily management of the financial system. The organisation is involved in organising lots of overseas events therefore looking after finance during this time is very important. You will be working independently but also as a part of the team and you will be responsible for managing two part-time bookkeepers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Managing the finance office (including two team members) to ensure everything runs smoothly
  • Generating and sending reports on sales invoices
  • Helping with coding suppliers’ invoices and preparing payment runs
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Data entry from the registration system and input in the accounting system
  • Running payroll
  • Communicate with external VAT agent (for overseas VAT)
  • Reconciliation of key control accounts and making sure any discrepancies or errors are identified and communicated
  • Looking into company financial policies and procedures
  • Identifying changes and improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency and reduce costs 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience working as Finance Manager (strong record keeping skills)
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise the workflow in the most efficient way
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Committed and motivated attitude
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of the team
  • Well-skilled and ready to jump straight in Finance Management role
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong Excel skills
