Our client, based on the outskirts of Wantage is currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to cover maternity leave for a minimum period of 6 months. Key duties will include, but will not be limited to: •Sales ledger •Purchase ledger •Credit control •Payroll (liaising with payroll to ensure all amendments are correctly processed, including starter and leaver information). •Weekly bank reconciliations •Cash flow forecasting •Month end processing •VAT reporting The successful candidate will possess strong organisational skills; you will have excellent administrative skills and work well as part of a team as well as on your own initiative. You will ideally have experience using Sage Line 50 software and will also have an excellent eye for detail and accuracy. Due to the location of the role it the successful candidate will have their own means of transport in order to get to the office at ease on a daily basis.
