Super opportunity to work with a new Finance Manager within a market-leading specialist retail equipment manufacturer. This role is ideally suited to someone with solid purchase ledger experience who is looking for a new challenge, transitioning over to take responsibility for the export ledger instead. Any prior exposure to export ledger is naturally beneficial but is by no means essential. This is a family friendly business with most roles working a 35 hour week (9am-5pm). They offer an excellent benefits package on top of a competitive salary package which leads to high staff retention levels. You'll find this a fast-moving, challenging role covering the EU territory. The role is vital to ensure that payments are processed to suppliers on time for all non-UK suppliers. You'll work closely with the Finance Manager to reconcile accounts to month end deadlines alongside reconciling nominal accounts and balance sheets. Anyone who is AAT qualified would be an excellent fit (or someone studying toward this qualification). With prior accounts experience (purchase ledger / export ledger), you will have sound IT skills (any experience with JD Edwards would be advantageous) and will be a calm, organised and detail orientated character who enjoys working with numbers on a daily basis.
