The Opportunity Working on site at one of the company’s largest blue-chip clients in the IT sector, you will be responsible for the organisation and management of sales and marketing events. The events can range from small roundtables through to large scale tradeshows etc. You will work closely with sales and marketing representatives to agree the objectives for each event, build customer focused agendas, develop and deliver invitations, as well as ensuring that logistics and venues are organised efficiently. Key Responsibilities • Organize and manage all areas of IT sales and marketing events; run up, on-site and post event • Manage budgets and maintain awareness of spend • Negotiate with venues on cost etc • Dealing with supplier inquiries Candidate Profile A bright, dynamic and creative character is required, with the ability to react to the changing needs of the business. You must have excellent interpersonal skills at all levels, with strong organisation and time management skills. The successful candidate will have solid experience organising, planning and executing a range of events. A knowledge of the IT sector will be ideal. The Company The company are a global provider of direct marketing campaigns; working on behalf of large blue-chip clients in the IT & Technology sector. Their UK head office is based in Uxbridge, but your role will work on site at a global IT corporation in Reading.
