Events Manager – 3 months contract

This is an exciting opportunity for an Events Manager to join a company based near Henley on a 3-month contract. You will responsible for managing the events and making sure they are kept to budget at all times.


  • Making sure the high quality of the events is delivered
  • Main responsible person for the organisation and setup of events
  • Managing event logistics
  • Making sure the event is delivered on time and budget
  • Managing and coordinating the suppliers and event logistics (venue, accommodation, staffing, catering, travel, speakers, sponsors, accreditation)
  • Keeping everything in the budget and according to time schedule
  • Be present along the whole event and making sure everything runs smoothly


  • Strong previous experience as an Events Manager
  • Must have valid driving licence and own transport
  • Ideally previously working within pharmaceutical, medical or scientific industry
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise work flow
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
