The Role Establishing and managing events for an active company as the Events Coordinator, you’ll find yourself in a rewarding role that will pull on your previous experience while enhancing your responsibilities. You will be project managing specified events, developing the format and content for new and existing events, marketing for attendees, and working to diversify and expand the company’s network. Working towards certain targets for attendance, you will be creating information packs to prepare the guests, coordinating paper and online marketing and promotion materials, and working to develop and maintain the company’s website. A huge amount of responsibility will belong to you in the administration of the events, and you will be providing feedback for each of the events you maintain. Key Responsibilities and The Candidate • Managing multiple events • Researching venues, catering, merchandise, etc. • Liaising with clients and providing preparation material • Follow up marketing leads with telephone campaigns As this role will require you to plan events, some previous events experience with events such as corporate/business functions, networking events, or professional fairs would be important, though previous events experience of any kind will be considered. It is also important you have excellent telephone manner, and have good attention to detail.
